Chemistry and Biology double major Sundus Lateef represented the state of West Virginia at the competitive Posters on the Hill event in Washington, D.C. on April 26, 2017. Sundus presented her research on liver disease and sugary drinks to legislators and congressional aids. She met with state legislators and discussed the importance of supporting research in the state of West Virginia.
