Students, residents, fellows, faculty, health professionals and community organizations are invited to apply to present a poster on their research or rural program/project. Abstracts will be accepted for projects in-progress and completed projects, as well as those that have been presented elsewhere.
Students, residents, and fellows (only) can also request to be part of an oral panel presentation. Submissions must be received by August 20, 2017. The review committee will use an evaluation rubric when evaluating submissions. The committee will include representation from three or more colleges/universities in the State. Notifications of acceptance will be sent out by September 10, 2017.
All poster presenters will be expected to set up their posters in the Willow and Elm Rooms at Canaan Valley Resort between 3:00-4:00 PM on Wednesday, October 11 and to be with their posters during the wine and cheese reception between 6:00 - 7:30 PM that evening.
Students and resident applicants who are interested in attending conference sessions will need to register for the conference. They can apply for a scholarship to cover conference registration and if traveling greater than 50 miles, they may also apply for lodging at Canaan Valley Resort for up to two nights in a shared room.
