Internships are available at the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL) located here in Morgantown, as well as at locations in Pittsburgh and Oregon. These internships involve projects in a variety of STEM fields including a renewable energy project run by a Biology PhD, a large geology experiment lab, physics, engineering, etc. The internship has a generous stipend, housing and travel allowance. A WVU alum that works at NETL would like to see more WVU students apply for the internship and will be at an informational dinner to be held in September (date, time, place TBD). Please contact the Office of Undergraduate Research (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you are a) a student that is interested in learning more about this internship opportunity or b) know a student that would be interested.
More information about the internship can be found at: https://orise.orau.gov/mlef/default.html.
