The Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium is a university-wide poster symposium that showcases students' summer research and creative endeavor efforts. Held each summer near the end of July (typically the last Thursday in July), students present their research in one of several offered categories with poster visuals and presentations scrutinized and judged. The 2017 Symposium (see 2017 program) consisted of 108 posters, 108 poster presenters, eight different judged categories, 14 judges and 14 poster winners and runner-ups. This event was open to the WVU community in the afternoon and all (administrators, faculty, students, parents, etc.) were invited to attend to help us celebrate the achievements of our undergraduates.
