Hannah Miller

Hannah Miller is a doctoral student in the Sport, Exercise, and Performance  Psychology Ph.D. program and a master’s student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling  program at West Virginia University (WVU). Originally from Michigan, Hannah earned  both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Kinesiology from Michigan State University.  Her work at WVU includes mental health counseling, mental performance consulting,  coursework, teaching, and research, and she is expected to graduate in May 2025.  Hannah is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) and is working toward  licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Her research explores the  impact of social media use on athletes’ psychological well-being and performance,  with particular attention to its effects on body image and disordered eating behaviors.
