Emily Heller
Emily Heller grew up in Cherry Hill NJ. She serves as a Graduate Service Assistant in the Office of Undergraduate Research. Having completed her B.S. in Forensic and Investigative Sciences with an emphasis in Forensic Chemistry at WVU. she stayed at WVU to pursue her PhD in Chemistry in the organic/inorganic division. She is currently in her third year of the program working on developing a more efficient method to synthesize benzene rings, as they are often present in active pharmaceutical ingredients. Her teaching experience includes the SURE program for three years, as well as TAing in the chemistry department for general, analytical, and organic chemistry labs.
