Parker

Parker Carte has a Bachelor’s degree in Multidisciplinary Studies from West Virginia University and a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Franklin University in Columbus, Ohio. During his time at WVU, Parker served as an undergraduate teaching assistant for the Research Apprenticeship Program (RAP), motivated by a lifelong passion for learning and discovery. Since then, Parker’s love of scholarship and instruction has only grown. As a graduate teaching assistant for RAP, he is committed to fostering a culture of enthusiasm around undergraduate research, as well as helping his students grow in their passion for their chosen field. Currently, Parker is pursuing a Master’s degree in Political Science. His professional interests include political history, political philosophy, and historiography--the study of historical writing. Outside of his professional life, he enjoys reading, cooking, martial arts, trying different teas, and spending quality time with his family.
