Research Area: Jackie's research is focused in the field of biomedical engineering. Her work specifies in the immobilization of enzymes in hyaluronic acid-based hydrogels. This technique will be applied in the formation of a glucose biosensor, though she sees opportunity for biocatalyst-enhanced materials in many areas of biomedicine, nanotechnology, and chemical engineering.
