Interest and Hobbies: In my spare time, I enjoy reading, hiking, fishing, and spending time with friends and family.

Fun Fact: I know how to juggle.

Research Area: Zach's research is focused on Huntington’s Disease (HD), a fatal neurodegenerative disease caused by a mutation in the huntingtin gene. This research involves probing morphological and mechanical changes associated with the progression of HD in a C. elegans model, with the ultimate goal of identifying potential biomarkers of this devastating disease.
