Performing Arts & Oral Presentations
Oral presentations take a lecture-style approach to discussing a research topic or creative scholarship. Presentations are approximately 15 minutes in length and in many cases are accompanied by PowerPoint slides.
There are two divisions of oral presentations. Human Engagement may include any presentations discussing topics within the humanities, arts, social sciences, education, or business. Science and technology typically includes disciplines related to science, technology, engineering or math.

Commenting on Presentations
Our virtual symposium uses the platform YouTube to enable virtual engagement between presenters and symposium attendees. We encourage attendees to leave a comment or question after watching the presentations. Student presenters will participate in "synchronous commenting" to answer your questions between the 2-4:30pm on November 14, and they will continue to monitor their presentations to answer any additional questions until November 20.
