The RAP program is a two-semester interdisciplinary program that provides an introduction to research for undergraduate students at WVU. Research apprentices get hands-on experience working with faculty and graduate student mentors to learn about research methods and techniques in their discipline. Research apprentices also enroll in an accompanying Introduction to Research course to supplement their research activities and gain professional development skills. The RAP program is open to students from all majors, including STEM, health sciences, humanities, arts, social sciences, business, and more.
