Picture a Scientist Viewing and Panel

The WVU Community is invited to a two-part event featuring a Virtual Film Screening of the documentary “Picture a Scientist”, followed by a Panel Discussion. “Picture a Scientist” is a feature-length documentary that chronicles the journey of three women scientists - a geologist, biologist, and chemist - and their experiences with sexual harassment and implicit bias. Register by Feb 12th and Watch the Documentary on your Own

You can view the film on your own prior to the panel, but will need to register first.  Please register by noon on Feb 12th, by following this link: https://eberly.wvu.edu/news-events/events/021921picture-a-scientist-virtual-film-screening-and-panel-discussion

You will then receive an email with viewing instructions. Receipt of the viewing code may not be immediate, but you will receive the code before the viewing window opens. You can view the documentary anytime between Feb 16th-18th. 

Live Panel Discussion During Seminar Time, Fri. Feb 19th, 3:30 pm

On Friday Feb 19th, at 3:30 pm there will be an interactive panel discussion related to the film. After registering, you will receive the login information to access the live panel meeting. This event is being hosted by the Chemistry Department in place of a weekly seminar, but will be open University-wide.
