All of our Programs feature a series of career-readiness classes, workshops and
events centered around an internship placement at a leading company in an industry
of interest to a student.
Our programs are open to students from any year and with any major, and they
may choose a placement in one of 9 career fields:
In partnership with Educational Testing Consultants, WVU's Continuing Professional Education (CPE) is offering comprehensive test preparation classes in live-online formats for the GMAT, GRE and LSAT.

Second-year Honors students are invited to learn more about the new Honors upper-division
experiential learning program (Honors EXCEL Program). The Honors EXCEL Program will help students who are doing independent experiential
or community-engaged learning. More sessions will be held Oct. 17, Oct. 24, Oct.
31 and Nov. 7.
Are you interested in learning about, searching for, and taking part in external scholarly opportunities (e.g., paid summer research experiences, internships at national/government labs or agencies, undergraduate symposia/conferences and journals)?
The Honors College is offering grants up to $1,000 for third year Honors students
who are engaged in experiential learning which could include: research, internships,
creative work/inventions & entrepreneurship, community engagement, and global
engagement through study abroad. The money may be used to purchase supplies,
incidental travel costs, conference or other fees, or other expenses critical to
a successful project.
Applications are due by Monday, Oct. 15.
Student Legislative Internships with the WV Higher Education Policy Commission

Interested in interning with the West Virginia State Legislature this January through
early May? Apply to this opportunity through the WV Higher Education Policy Commission.
In the past, students have received 12 hours of college credit from their institution,
and a weekly stipend from our agency for serving as an intern.

The application deadlines for graduate fellowships are fast approaching! The
early fall deadlines sometimes catch students off guard -- I'm hoping you will
be able to share our information with any undergraduates considering graduate school,
as well as any current graduate students in STEM.
