NOAA GSL and University of Colorado, Boulder Cooperative Institute for Research in Earth Sciences (CIRES) have announced a joint internship, open to undergraduate and graduate students, starting in Summer 2022. Of note,
- Students will be paid to conduct environmental and geoscience research activities with CIRES and GSL scientists. Undergraduate interns will receive $750/week over 10 weeks (May 23-July 29th) and graduate student interns will receive $1500/week over 12 weeks (May 23-August 19) paid biweekly.
- Students from rural colleges and from groups historically underrepresented in science are encouraged to apply.
- No prior research experience is required and there is no minimum GPA requirement; All applicants will be given full consideration.
- We are planning for a fully remote program summer of 2022.
