Navigating Mentoring for Undergraduate Research Mentors

Undergraduate Research Experiences (URE) are considered high impact educational practices that have significant benefits on students. At the same time, effective mentoring is essential to achieve all the benefits associated with the participation in UREs. Please join us for a workshop that will help you to develop and sustain an effective mentoring practice.

This virtual workshop will be divided into two parts: 1st part will combine a presentation session with active break-out rooms to discuss real scenarios. In the 2nd part we will host a panel with faculty and researchers who have received excellence awards for undergraduate research mentoring. Additionally, participants will have access to a Google classroom where they will find supporting material to help in their mentoring journey.

Please RSVP here or by scanning the QR code below so we can send you an email with the information to login to the virtual workshop and to access the associated materials. The workshop will be hosted on Monday, November 7th, from 9 to 11:30, 2022.
