Texas A&M University is excited to announce the second year of an international research internship opportunity for undergraduate engineering students funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF) International Research Experience for Students (IRES) program. The IRES project site will be hosted at Arts et Métiers, the Grande École of Technology at Aix-en-Provence, France.
Through our AM² partnership between Texas A&M University Engineering (TAMU) and Arts et Métiers Institute of Technology, the project will be a summer-long research experience and internship program for a diverse cohort of students who are focusing on smart manufacturing and artificial intelligence (AI) for the emerging industrial era in Aix-en-Provence, France. Part of this IRES program involves heavy interactions and involvement with European Industry Partners (STIL, Airbus, Saint Gobain, and Safran). Please inform your students about this unique opportunity! This program will be comprised of 8 science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields interns from Texas A&M University and many other universities located in Texas and throughout the United States. (Domestic, National). We strive for a wide variety of diversity, backgrounds, academic accomplishments, and personality to create a winning team that exactly meets the goals of this NSF grant! Historically underrepresented minorities and female students encouraged to apply.
