Clarkson University is hosting an NSF REU program "Summer Research Experience on Resilient Carbon-Free U.S. Electric Power Systems":

Currently, we are seeking applicants for the 2023 Summer in engineering and related majors who have completed at least one year of their studies.  The NSF summer program provides excellent benefits to students including $600/week research stipend, $120/week food stipend, free on-campus housing, and round-trip travel to and from Clarkson.   Applications are made through the website, and we have potential research projects posted there as well.
