Applications Being Accepted for the Live Your Dream Awards
Soroptimist's Live Your Dream Awards program is a unique education award for women who provide the primary financial support for their families.
The Live Your Dream Awards give women the resources they need to improve their education, skills and employment prospects. Over half of Live Your Dream Awards recipients are survivors of domestic violence, trafficking or sexual assault. Nearly all the women and families served have overcome enormous obstacles including poverty, teen pregnancy, and drug or alcohol addiction.

WV Science Public Outreach Team (SPOT) is now recruiting ambassadors
GET PAID TO TEACH KIDS ABOUT SCIENCE
The West Virginia Science Public Outreach Team (SPOT) is a statewide program operated out of the Green Bank Observatory that recruits and trains undergraduate ambassadors to bring presentations about current West Virginia science to K-12 classrooms (and get PAID).
Current and Recent Undergrads: Citizens’ Climate Lobby/Citizens’ Climate Education (CCL) Interns and Fellows Wanted
Citizens' Climate Lobby/Citizens' Climate Education (CCL) is currently recruiting students and recent graduates to join our team as interns or fellows. We have opportunities with a variety of different departments that may appeal to students across many disciplines. These experiences provide valuable work experience, networking opportunities, and may include academic or financial benefits. You can learn more about our current openings on our website. The application deadline is October 1st, 2022.
For students looking to deepen their learning outside of the classroom, we offer a free Climate Advocacy Certificate Program each semester. This provides valuable transferable skills in advocacy, climate science, and communication over the course of a 15-week remote course. Students interested in enrolling in this fall’s program should sign up by September 2nd, 2022.

Libraries Student Advisory Group Application!
The Libraries Student Advisory Group offers students situated on either the Downtown or Evansdale campuses an opportunity to participate in the decision-making and evaluation processes for WVU Libraries. There will be regularly occurring discussions with library administrators, assessment activities, and outreach projects whose primary goal will be to improve library services for students and other members of the Morgantown community.
Members of the LSAG will serve in a voluntary capacity. However, active LSAG members will be eligible for the following benefits:
Graduate Students Needed! Ice Cream Social
WVU graduate students in all disciplines and colleges are needed to serve as peer mentors to undergraduate students at the annual "Graduate Life: The Real Story and Ice Cream Social," hosted by the Office of Undergraduate Research, Graduate Admissions and Recruitment, and the SURE program.
Call for Abstracts and Poster Judges: 2022 WVU Summer Symposium
The 14th Annual Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium is scheduled to return in-person and open to the public at 10:00 am (EST) on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at the Erickson Alumni Center.
We will accommodate a record number of undergraduate researchers this year, with presenters displaying posters in a variety of disciplines and explaining their summer research and creative work. The symposium will be judged, and winning presentations from each category will be announced by 2:00pm.
