NASA Starshade Undergraduate Challenge: Structural Design

The American Institute of Physics (SPS Jobs’ parent company) is partnering with NASA's funded proposal team, the Hybrid Observatory for Earth-like Exoplanets, to host a design challenge for undergraduate students. Students are invited to form teams with their local departments and universities and submit their proposals for a lightweight, scalable, orbiting starshade that could help examine exoplanets from an Earth-stationed observatory. The first phase of submissions is due January 20, 2023.
